This position is for an Occupational Therapist (OT) working Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, averaging 40 hours per week with weekend rotation. The OT provides rehabilitation services in a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, supporting patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, including those in a ventilator unit. The role focuses on improving functional independence, mobility, and daily living skills. Requirements:
Candidates must hold an active Occupational Therapist license and have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of ADL training, adaptive equipment, and patient safety practices is required, along with strong communication and EMR documentation skills.
