This position receives work from Managers, Principals and Partners. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This role will be responsible for the following activities, included but not limited to:Essential duties and responsibilities:Maintain primary responsibility for assigned clientsMonitor the work flow and due dates for assigned clientsSupervise, train, and review supervisors, in-charge accountants', staff accountants', and accounting assistants' services performed on assigned clients in a prompt and efficient mannerDemonstrate excellent skill and experience in assigned technical areas representative of a managerPerform engagements within budgeted time limits if if overruns of the time occur, discuss reason with client partner or principalWorks as an effective team member to complete project components and assigned tasksBuilds working relationships at peer client levelEffectively documents workImplements solutions for clientsIdentifies task issues as well as task progress in a timely and organized mannerMake timely and decisive solutions to complex issues.Additional duties and responsibilities:Seeks to gain knowledge of client businessDemonstrates an active interest in the business world by keeping abreast of market trends and business developmentsAssists in proposal development and research gathering as requestedParticipates in office and firm wide initiativesActively pursues self-development opportunitiesMaintain an image representative of a leaderBuilds strong team relationship skillsMaintain personal and professional integrity at all timesOther duties as assigned.Required education and experience:Minimum of 4 years public accounting experience preferredCPA in good standing with the Accountancy BoardSupervisory responsibility:May have some supervisory responsibilitiesWork environment:This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, scanners and fax machines.Physical demands:This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
