Amazon Sortation Center Associate

Job Overview
The Sortation Center Associate helps organize customer packages before they are transported to their next destination. Associates typically receive, scan, sort, stage, and move packages through a sortation facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive packages entering the facility.
- Scan package labels and routing information.
- Sort packages according to destination.
- Place packages in designated containers, carts, pallets, or staging areas.
- Move packages between processing areas.
- Prepare sorted packages for outbound transportation.
- Identify incorrectly routed or damaged packages.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow facility safety procedures.
- Assist team members during high-volume processing periods.
Qualifications
Candidates should be able to work accurately in a fast-moving operational environment and follow established safety procedures.
