This role is located in Melbourne, FL.**This role may be filled at the Base OR Principal level based on the qualifications listed, below**The selected candidate will provide Lab design, integration and systems engineering support for system and software engineering labs.Key Responsibilities:Designs and develops system architectures, and define key capabilities and performance requirementsDefines design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications.Develops thorough definition of system external interfaces.Defines system implementation approach and operational concept.Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customers.Develops thorough definition of system requirements and requirement verifications.Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.Problem Solving: Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.Discretion/Latitude: Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective, for desired results.Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
