A respected Midwest law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation practice. Position Overview

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of litigation experience and the ability to independently manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution. The firm is seeking a strategic thinker with strong analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills who can effectively counsel clients and navigate complex legal challenges.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred:

• Business litigation
• Complex commercial litigation
• Real estate litigation
• General civil litigation
• Condemnation/eminent domain matters
• Trusts and estates litigation

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations
• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice and client counseling
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on complex matters
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Missouri
• 6+ years of litigation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently and efficiently
• Strong academic credentials
• Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Commitment to client service and professional excellence
