Description: Please ensure traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position with Ochsner Health, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. Facility & Patient Care Details: Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics Daily Census: 30 Number of Visits Per Day: - Number of Rooms: 5 Number of Beds: 700 Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support: Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation Patient Diagnoses: - Special Procedures/Unit Details: HCC, Onc, ALS, GI, Sepsis, Neuro, etc. Special Equipment: Fluoro equipment (Siemens single and biplanes and one GE biplane), US equipment, GE procedural CT scanner, Cryo machine, RF machine, MWA machine, etc.

Travel Compliance: Facility does not accept local travelers. Must be over 65 miles (address on drivers license to site address) Must have 2 years experience in specialty for all locations. (New Orleans operating room req. 3 years) **NO CALL IN!** RTO must be on profile and brought up in the interview or there is a high chance offer's will be rescinded. Compact or LA license in hand upon submittal Allied Candidates booked with pending license - Candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing Orientation held 5 days a week References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract. PDF format AHA certifications are required AWHONN Intermediate is required for L&D RNCPI required for all CNAER nurses must have CPI, or be able to get it before start. This cert is somewhat difficult to get, so please be prepared for this. NURSYS Reports for RNs must be sent with profile. Please ensure that the NURSYS is up to date (within 4 weeks of submission date). Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before they can return as travel.
