Investor Relations Analyst

The Group You'll Be A Part Of

Lam Research's Investor Relations team shapes how institutional investors and the sell-side analyst community understand our strategy and financial performance. Lam sits at the center of the AI infrastructure buildout, so investor interest is high, and the pace we operate at reflects it.

What You'll Do

Investor Engagement Operations

• Coordinate non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, and 1:1 investor meetings, including scheduling, travel, and briefing materials for executives
• Triage the IR inbox; draft responses and route inquiries from shareholders, sell-side, and the broader investor community
• Draft and coordinate IR press releases (earnings, conferences, investor events)
• Own the investor and analyst CRM, contact lists, and meeting tracking
• Manage the IR budget, including vendor relationships, conference sponsorships, and travel spend
• Manage the IR website

Earnings Preparation

• Coordinate earnings-day logistics, including vendor management, investor call setup, and timely publication of earnings materials
• Prepare post-earnings recaps for senior IR members to send to Lam leadership
• Support investor day planning logistics

Market Knowledge

• Monitor sell-side research, consensus estimates, and peer and customer earnings
• Track ownership changes and 13F filings
• Contribute to investor targeting

The Impact You'll Make

In this role, you will directly contribute to how the investment community understands Lam's strategy, performance, and positioning. We're a small team working closely with various organizations within Lam. Your work will include a range of responsibilities from roadshow logistics and investor scheduling to earnings preparation. AI is part of how we work, not a side project. The faster you build automation into the operations work, the faster your scope expands.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of investor relations, equity research, FP&A, or related functions
• Familiarity with financial statements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Active use of AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude)

• Experience in semiconductors, capital equipment, or technology
• Familiarity with market data tools and IR management platforms

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $72,000.00 - $170,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
