Location

Northern Territory - Lancaster, Groveton, Stratford, Stark, Columbia, Colebrook, Pittsburg, Errol

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday; with a start time around 8 or 9 AM.

Job Description

The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the plan of care. This role focuses on utilizing therapeutic exercises, modalities, and activities to achieve the highest possible level of function within the home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed.
• Assist patients in achieving the highest level of functional mobility.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of current Physical Therapy Assistant experience in Home Health is required.
• Experience with a diverse range of age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant practice license from the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professionals is required.
• License verification must be included in submissions.
• Permanent address must be included in submission file.
