Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Overview

A PT-owned orthopedic outpatient clinic in Pompano Beach, FL is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its clinical team. The PTA will help patients complete treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and support recovery through exercise, movement training, and patient education.

This role offers a flexible schedule, full benefits, and a manageable pace of 2 patients per hour .

Responsibilities

• Follow and carry out treatment plans developed by the PT
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Support improvement in strength, range of motion, balance, and mobility
• Observe patient progress and report updates to the PT
• Help patients understand proper technique and safe movement
• Prepare equipment and treatment areas
• Complete daily notes and treatment documentation
• Maintain a professional and welcoming patient experience

Requirements

• FL PTA License required
• PTA Degree required
• Outpatient experience preferred
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Interest in orthopedic outpatient therapy
• Strong patient communication skills

Benefits

Compensation and Schedule

• Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, depending on experience
• Schedule: Flexible — 4-day schedule or Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour
