The Service Technician is a key member of the Franchise Support Team responsible for driving to customers, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and installing all assigned customer owned, company owned, vending and food service equipment. Essential Functions Regular and timely attendance; works all required hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Receives, implements, and completes service calls from customers. Makes repairs, activates, and deactivates machines. Drives a company vehicle to complete job orders. Documents job order completion, supplies used, and other required data. Maintains correct parts inventory on truck. Transports used parts to the ME department for warranties/remanufacturing. Operates handheld device and records daily activities. Maintains administrative requirements through BRC Technology. Assesses safety and requests assistance if needed. Maintains EPA requirements for refrigeration. Communicates effectively with Sales, Management, and customers. Works an on‑call rotation schedule as determined by management. Provides transmitted handheld data to server. Parks service vehicle in a secure place while on and off duty. Attends scheduled meetings as directed. Adheres to vendor and supplier policies. Loads/unloads product during installation or repair of equipment. Reports to work in a clean uniform. Keeps vehicle clean and well‑maintained. Uses all safety equipment and operates equipment/vehicles safely. Completes other activities assigned by supervisor. Other Duties and Responsibilities Exhibit high level of ethical and moral conduct. Qualifications for Tech Level II Must meet Tech Level I qualifications. Graduate of a two‑year trade school or equivalent training. Must pass written and hands‑on test at 80% or higher. Qualifications for Tech Level III Must meet Tech Level II qualifications. Must be refrigeration handling certified. Must pass written and hands‑on test at 80% or higher. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED or Equivalence certificate. Computer skills: handheld computer, handheld printer, tools. Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
