Asecntium Capital Vendor Sales Account Manager

Job Description At Ascentium Capital, the Vendor Sales Account Manager is a direct, client‑facing role that develops new business opportunities while retaining and servicing these clients and their business financing needs. Primary Responsibilities Identify and pursue new leads, prospects, or clients through cold calling, networking, and attending industry trade shows to achieve specified production goals. Develop and deepen client relationships through business activities, primarily via off‑site, in‑person meetings with clients, prospects and leads. Conduct frequent in‑person meetings with potential clients to discuss products or services, make proposal presentations, and demonstrate how offerings meet their needs. Cultivate relationships with existing clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and cross‑sell additional products. Maintain understanding of all product offerings and effectively communicate the benefits of these products to customers. Communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies/procedures to new and existing clients. Negotiate terms and agreements to finalize sales and secure deals. Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of company product information. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly and identify new opportunities. Ensure that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Meet monthly sales goals on a consistent basis. Develop new business and maintain existing business relationships. Provide timely and accurate sales reporting as required. Routinely attend business/trade events as requested by management. Attend company sales meetings. This position is exempt from time‑keeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Maintain an average of $300,000 in monthly production. Preferences Bachelor's degree in a related field. One (1) year of commercial, small business, equipment financing or related outside sales experience. Demonstrated results meeting production sales goals. Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and other applicable sales tools. Skills and Competencies Ability to manage multiple and consistently evolving priorities. Ability to learn additional systems as needed. Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts. Developing negotiation and consultative sales skills. Developing relationship‑building skills. Demonstrated ability to present information effectively to different audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills. Strong work ethic and self‑motivation. Compensation Base compensation and variable compensation with total compensation earning potential of $40,000 - $150,000+. Remote Work Opportunity to work remote requires a minimum of 3‑4 years of commercial, small business, equipment financing sales experience. Position Type Full time. Incentive Pay Plans This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
