In Client's Heart Failure division, we're advancing the treatment of heart and vascular disease through breakthrough medical technologies in electrophysiology and heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.What You'll DoPerform preventative, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, safety checks, repairs, installations, and modifications on production equipment.Record all maintenance repair activity on production equipment and fixtures using CMMS.Knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machinesKnowledge of and experience in troubleshooting and repairing all production equipmentKnowledge of and experience in using small tools, micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, multimeters, etc.Ability to understand and follow verbal and written proceduresAbility to read and understand drawings and electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematicsKnowledge of personal computer operations and skill in using software packages including Microsoft OfficeAbility to respond to and answer/solve technical questions and problemsTear down, inspect and rebuild production equipmentAbility to diagnose PLC problems and take the appropriate corrective action to repairRequisition needed items for inventory, spare parts and emergency repairsSupport 5SRepairing, disassembling, and troubleshooting equipmentStrong focus on maintenance experience (not assembly-only backgrounds)Functional testing of assembly or production equipmentMechanical troubleshooting; fabrication is not a major requirementComfort working around automation equipmentEducation and Experience You'll BringHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Two-year technical vocational training and/or military experience.Minimum 2 years' experience.Knowledge of and skill in repairing industrial machinesDegree or formal education in maintenance or related technical field is a plusIndustrial maintenance experience requiredExperience disassembling and maintaining machinesMedical device or optics manufacturing experience is a plus, but not mandatoryHands-on maintenance experienceTechnical troubleshooting skillsAbility to explain prior maintenance work and experience clearly during interviewsElectrical / PLC ExperienceElectrical maintenance experience requiredSome PLC experience preferred Not a large part of the roleNo PLC programming requiredJust basic troubleshooting and understandingAutomation/PLC team handles programming
