Sr Manager, Software Engineering (Employee Platforms)

Salary: $42,500 - 70,500 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with 5+ years of applied experience and demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
• Experience leading technology projects and managing technologists
• Experience leading responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools across engineering teams, including defining review and validation practices, measuring outcomes, and handling data securely
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, resilience, security, and governance, with the ability to coach engineers on compliant and effective usage
• Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methods, including CI/CD, application resilience, and security
• In-depth knowledge of financial services and its IT systems
• Practical cloud-native experience
• Preferred: experience using AI to create user experiences, creating agents and skills for AI models, design systems, HTML/CSS, React, mentoring junior engineers, and working with stakeholders to deliver sprint goals

• Guide software engineers on their daily tasks and activities
• Set expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
• Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC/TLM automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes; establish expectations for human validation, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and reusable patterns
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase automation value and support capacity initiatives
• Anticipate dependencies across teams to deliver products and applications aligned with business requirements
• Manage stakeholder relationships and team work in accordance with compliance standards, service-level agreements, and business requirements
