Mortgage Procedures Specialist

Waukesha State Bank is seeking a Mortgage Procedures Specialist to develop, maintain, and improve operational procedures that support our Mortgage Operations, Loan Servicing, and Retail Lending teams. In this role, you'll work closely with subject matter experts across the bank to document workflows, support system enhancements and conversions, and ensure employees have accurate, easy-to-follow procedures that promote consistency, compliance, and operational excellence. Responsibilities This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys analyzing business processes, and wants to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes. You'll play a key role in identifying process improvements, maintaining centralized procedure documentation, assisting with employee training resources, participating in system implementations and testing, and collaborating with Compliance, Audit, IT, and operational teams to ensure procedures reflect current business practices and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Qualified candidates will have at least three years of experience in mortgage operations, loan servicing, banking operations, business analysis, or process documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation while supporting continuous improvement across our lending operations.
