Operations Manager, Fulfillment Operations As a member of the ShipBob Team, you will play a key role in managing staff, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining proper departmental operations. You are expected to take ownership of continuous improvement, increase productivity, and drive revenue growth. Location and Shift Location: 400 Smoketree Plaza, North Aurora, IL 60542 Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM (with flexibility as needed) Responsibilities Direct operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, and recruiting. Ensure merchant expectations are met and exceeded. Manage performance KPIs, identify and track key metrics, and plan continuous improvement efforts. Use data‑driven reports and analyses to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions that leverage growth. Hire, train, coach, and motivate team members; set team goals and manage performance. Establish, follow, and enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with legal requirements. Share effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs with other locations and headquarters. Accountable for ensuring all operational processes—including receiving, storage, handling, and shipping—maintain safety, quality, and legality of products. Support adherence to standard operating procedures and ensure timely escalation of any product‑related issues. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary. What you’ll bring to the table 4+ years of leadership experience. Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management, or a related field (preferred). Experience with safety procedures within a distribution center environment. Track record of taking ownership and delivering results. Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without restriction. Ability to stand, walk continuously, and perform physical tasks during an 8‑10 hour shift. Compensation Base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $69,998 – $116,663. The target salary range for this role is $85,000 – $90,000. In addition to base salary, this role includes potential eligibility for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on performance.
