Light Industrial - Lab Support Technician

Job TitleThis position is NOT working in a clean lab environment. This position consists of collecting samples of ash and other material in all areas of the trash recycling facility. The work environment is extremely dirty and dusty. There are areas that a mask including a respiratory mask will be required to collect testing sample. It is not climate controlled and it is a dirty work environment. Candidates with a laboratory background will need to understand that this is working outside and a dirty work environment and not in a medical facility laboratory. This is a Temp To Hire opportunity for the right candidate. Manager will want to review resumes, conduct Teams interviews for first round and then do in person interviews for second round. When, if converted to full time, hourly pay rate will be per hour plus benefit package so temporary pay rate needs to be at or under per hour. Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm, possible Saturday work. This schedule could change. Work Location: Reworld, 500 Middle Drive, Fairless Hills PA.Responsibilities Include:Assist in the testing of metals and aggregate recovered during processingHelp gather and organize data needed for pricing analysisCoordinate shipments and tracking of analytical samplesAssist with basic maintenance of laboratory equipment and keep appropriate recordsEnter data for all laboratory tests and dataAssist with record-keeping, filing and preparing standard reports.Operate scale house computer as needed to accurately weigh trucks, monitor inbound/outbound truck activity, communicate with various departments and keep accurate records of all tickets, manifests and related office suppliesProvide general upkeep of the lab and scale house as appropriateEnsure that all customers and employees conduct business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
