Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility facility grounds, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with location procedures and/or posted requirements.
• Support daily operations by observing equipment yards, parking areas, and other sensitive locations, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
