Fabrication Welder I - 1st Shift Carol Stream, IL $21.00 - $23.00/hr (Paid Weekly) Overtime: $31.50 - $34.50/hr Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Paid Breaks | Overtime Available Position Overview We are seeking a Fabrication Welder I to build and assemble machine frames and components using MIG welding and fabrication techniques. This role involves working with structural steel, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and preparing equipment for shipping. Responsibilities MIG weld and fabricate machine components and frames Build industrial equipment such as ovens, tanks, guards, and catwalks Grind and finish completed products Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met Install components into machine assemblies Assist with machine teardown, painting, and shipping preparation Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed Qualifications Ability to read a tape measure accurately MIG welding or fabrication experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, or willingness to learn Experience with shop equipment, forklifts, or cranes is a plus Benefits once hire on!
