Why join us Competitive Compensation Package 401(k) ICHRA Based Health Coverage Limited Travel Requirements Direct Access to Leadership: Work hand in hand with ownership and executive leadership on financial strategy and operational decisions Established Stability, Entrepreneurial Culture: Join a company with over 75 years of success that still operates with a collaborative, team first mindset Real Impact: Play a key role shaping company growth and driving process improvements across the finance function Key Responsibilities and Duties Lead all accounting and financial operations for the company and its affiliated entities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage month end and year end close processes Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and financial policies Oversee project accounting, including WIP schedules, job costing, percentage of completion accounting, draw requests, billing, accounts receivable, and collections Monitor project profitability and provide financial insight to leadership Manage weekly cash flow reporting and forecasting Partner with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Supervise accounting staff across Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Project Accounting Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance Oversee payroll, insurance reporting, sales tax filings, and other regulatory requirements Continuously improve accounting processes and financial reporting capabilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA designation preferred Minimum of 5 to 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience within the construction industry strongly preferred Extensive knowledge of construction accounting, WIP reporting, job costing, percentage of completion accounting, and construction billing Experience with construction ERP or accounting software such as Procore, Sage, Viewpoint, or Foundation Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to work independently while partnering closely with executive leadership Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
