Marketing Manager

Location: Doral, FL Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site Compensation: Approximately $110,000-$135,000+ , based on experience. About the Opportunity AppleOne Employment Services is partnering with a very established and growing South Florida Commercial General Contractor to identify an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the company's marketing, proposal development, branding, and business development support initiatives. This is a highly visible position working closely with executive leadership, Business Development, Estimating, Preconstruction, and Operations. The Marketing Manager will play an important role in positioning the company for continued growth and ensuring that proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and corporate communications effectively showcase the firm's experience and capabilities. The ideal candidate will have direct marketing experience within a Commercial General Contractor or construction environment and a strong background developing RFQs, RFPs, SOQs, proposals, qualifications packages, and interview presentations . Key Responsibilities Lead the company's overall marketing, branding, and corporate communications initiatives. Manage the development and submission of: RFQs RFPs SOQs Proposal packages Qualifications statements and packages Interview and pursuit presentations Develop polished, compelling proposals designed to position the company competitively and help secure new projects. Partner with Business Development and executive leadership on pursuit strategies for targeted projects and clients. Maintain and update company brochures, project sheets, resumes, presentations, and other marketing collateral. Manage project information, photography, employee resumes, project databases, and other marketing assets. Oversee website content and coordinate updates and enhancements with outside web designers and vendors. Develop and manage the company's social media presence and digital marketing initiatives. Create project spotlights, company announcements, award submissions, press releases, and other corporate content. Support executive leadership with presentations, client meetings, and strategic marketing initiatives. Coordinate industry events, trade shows, sponsorships, networking opportunities, and professional association involvement. Manage proposal calendars and deadlines to ensure submissions are accurate, professional, and delivered on time. Coordinate with outside marketing consultants, graphic designers, photographers, printers, and other vendors as needed. Maintain consistent corporate branding, messaging, and visual standards across all marketing materials. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of marketing experience , ideally within a Commercial General Contractor, construction management firm, architecture/engineering firm, or closely related AEC environment . Strong knowledge of the commercial construction industry and the proposal/pursuit process. Demonstrated experience preparing RFQs, RFPs, SOQs, proposals, qualifications packages, and interview presentations . Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines. Experience supporting Business Development and executive leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign is highly preferred. Experience with Canva or other graphic design/marketing platforms is a plus. Experience managing corporate websites, social media, and digital content. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will bring: A stable career history with reputable commercial contractors or AEC organizations. Strong commercial construction marketing and proposal experience. Knowledge of the South Florida construction market . Experience supporting both public and private-sector pursuits. Strong InDesign and proposal-production capabilities . The ability to work collaboratively with executives, Business Development, Estimating, Preconstruction, and Operations. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. A proactive and creative approach to marketing with a strong understanding of how marketing supports business development and revenue growth.
