We are a preferred vendor for major national insurance programs which means structured billing cycles, real receivables complexity, and consistent, year-round volume./ppWhat The Job Actually Looks Like/ppThis is a full-time, on-site position in Salem, MA Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No nights, no weekends, no on-call rotation. You will own the AR function for our Massachusetts operations. That means:/pulliGenerating and submitting invoices to insurance carriers, TPAs, commercial property managers, and individual customers/liliManaging and working the AR aging report proactively not waiting for accounts to go 90 days before acting/liliTracking insurance carrier payments, including partial payments, payment holdbacks, and supplement approvals/liliContacting adjusters, carrier representatives, and policyholders to resolve disputes and collect on outstanding balances/liliPosting payments, credits, and adjustments accurately in the accounting system/liliPreparing aging summaries and AR reports for management review/liliCoordinating with our Project Managers to make sure job documentation supports every invoice/liliMaintaining clean, audit-ready AR records and customer account files/liliSupporting month-end close activities tied to receivables/liliIdentifying and driving process improvements that reduce DSO and improve cash flow/li/ulpOur payer mix includes insurance carriers, TPAs, commercial clients, and residential customers. If you have billed insurance companies or TPAs before, that experience will translate directly and make you more effective from day one./ppstrongWhat We Need From You/strong/ppAt least 2 years of dedicated accounts receivable experience invoicing, aging management, and collections/ppHands-on experience managing an AR aging report and following up on past-due accounts/ppProficiency in accounting software QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar/ppSolid Excel skills: VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and reconciliation work/ppThe ability to communicate professionally and assertively with customers and carriers when money is on the line/ppHigh attention to detail invoice accuracy and payment posting errors cost real money here/ppClean background required for all positions/ppstrongYou Will Stand Out If You Have/strong/ppExperience billing insurance companies, TPAs, or other multi-payer environments (property insurance, healthcare, or similar)/ppPrior work in restoration, construction, or field-service industries/ppFamiliarity with Xactimate, Dash, Encircle, or PSA restoration platforms/ppExperience with month-end close and formal AR reconciliation reporting/ppAn associates or bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent hands-on experience/ppstrongPay Benefits/strong/pp$25.00 $28.00 / hour based on experience paid weekly/ppNo nights.
