Material Handler - 3rd Shift

Bindery Material Handler - 3rd Shift - 11PM-7AM Mon-Fri


Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow verbal instructions to identify materials and production requirements.
• Feed, stack, jog, and move materials on and off bindery and finishing equipment.
• Neatly stack finished product on skids for the next stage of production.
• Box, strap, label, and skid products according to production tickets.
• Operate box taping and manual/automatic strapping equipment.
• Use a manual pallet jack and carts to move materials and finished products as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of warehouse or manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safely operate around production equipment.
• Previous bindery, printing, manufacturing, or production equipment experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of basic industrial safety practices.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.
• Perform repetitive grasping and handling motions.
• Lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs. frequently.
• Push, pull, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, and climb stairs as needed.
• Work in a noisy manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
