This position participates in our compensation program, which provides opportunities for future pay growth based on performance and career development.401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%Hotel discounts at select Western States Lodging & Management propertiesEligible full-time associates are entitled to the following:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans plus Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsOptional supplemental benefits, including accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and other coverage options.Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefitsWhat You'll DoWelcome and register late-arriving guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests whenever possibleCheck guests out efficiently and professionallyAssist with reservations, pre-registration, and room assignmentsRespond to overnight guest questions, requests, concerns, and emergenciesServe as the Manager on Duty and assist with resolving guest concernsAudit group accounts to ensure postings align with applicable sales contractsRun night audit reports and complete required accounting documentationFollow established cash handling, credit, and check-cashing proceduresComplete daily front desk and night audit checklists accuratelyOperate the hotel's property management system and follow brand-specific front desk requirementsStay informed about current hotel promotions, services, and amenitiesDemonstrate Western States Lodging & Management hospitality and service standardsWhat Makes You SuccessfulHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious customer service experience preferredExperience in a hotel, front desk, night audit, or similar role preferredBasic understanding of hotel operations and front desk proceduresStrong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactionsAbility to provide professional, courteous service to guests and coworkersBasic computer skills with the ability to learn property management and reporting systemsAbility to remain calm and professional when responding to guest concerns or unexpected situationsUnderstanding of and commitment to excellent customer serviceAvailability to work overnight shifts, including some weekends and holidays as neededPhysical RequirementsThis position requires frequent walking and standing, as well as the ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and reach throughout the shift. Associates must be able to use proper body mechanics and occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
