Locums - Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Interventional Cardiology Job (IMLC Accepted)

Schedule & Shift Details:

• 24-hour call coverage
• Example shifts:
  • Aug 22, 8:00am-8:00am
  • Aug 23, 8:00am-8:00am
• Ongoing call coverage requirement
• Coverage needs up to 40 hours/week approximately every other month and for vacation coverage

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based interventional cardiology coverage
• Clinic and academic/training components included
• Telemedicine involvement also applicable
• No ASC or long-term care responsibilities

Facility Details:

• 270-bed hospital
• Mixed inpatient and outpatient support structure
• 1 assigned outpatient clinical team
• 1 assigned inpatient APP
• Cath lab staff onsite

Patient Volume & Population:

• Approximately 18 patients per day
• Adult and geriatric population (18-100 years)

Procedures Required:

• Right and left heart catheterization (R/LHC)
• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Balloon angioplasty
• Intra-aortic balloon pump
• Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)

Support & Services:

• Cath lab fully staffed inpatient
• APP inpatient support available
• Outpatient clinical team assigned

EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist - Required
• Active Pennsylvania license - Required
• DEA - Required
• ACLS - Required
• BLS - Required
• Must be comfortable with full interventional cardiology scope

Credentialing:

• Approximately 90 days
• Temporary privileges available with clean file
