They are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager / Paralegal who understands how to manage a file seamlessly from intake through settlement or trial prep. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) Case Management & Intake: Manage a robust portfolio of personal injury cases (plaintiff-side) from initial intake through the pre-litigation lifecycle. Client & Provider Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing empathetic updates, coordinating medical treatment, and maintaining regular communication. Medical Records & Liens: Request, track, and organize medical records, billing statements, and insurance policies. Review and negotiate medical liens prior to settlement. Insurance Coordination: Set up claims with insurance carriers, confirm coverage limits, and handle property damage, med-pay, and bodily injury claims. Demand Packages: Draft comprehensive, compelling demand packages for attorney review. Litigation Support (For Paralegal track): Assist attorneys with drafting pleadings, discovery responses, motion prep, and trial binder organization if a case moves out of pre-lit. What We’re Looking For (Requirements) Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience as a Case Manager or Paralegal within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm. PI Knowledge: Deep understanding of the PI lifecycle, including medical terminology, treatment modalities, insurance coverages (UM/UIM, third-party), and lien negotiations. The "Beverly Hills" Polish: Strong communication skills with the ability to handle high-profile clients and medical providers professionally. System Savvy: Proficiency with personal injury case management software (e.g., Filevine, CASEpeer, Clio) and standard office suites. High Energy & Drive: Ability to multitask, manage a high volume of files efficiently, and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
