Job Title Police Officer The following are the duties of this position at the TR-08. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position. As a Police Officer, you will: Serve as a United States Police Officer having authority derived from the Director of The Bureau of Engraving and Printing via the Secretary of the Treasury through Title 18, United States Code, Section 13 (18 U.S.C. § 13) The Assimilative Crimes Act (ACA), Title 31, United States Code, Section 321 Money and Finance: Treasury and Title 40, United States Code, Section 1315 (b) (2) (A)-(C), Protection of Environment Code of Federal Regulations in policing Bureau of Engraving and Printing buildings and grounds to enforce all Federal, State and local laws enacted for the protection of persons and property and to prevent breaches of the peace, to suppress affrays or unlawful assemblies and to enforce any rules and regulations made and promulgated by the Secretary of the Treasury or the Director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Enforce of all Federal, State, local laws as well as Treasury and Bureau of Engraving and Printing rules and regulations for the protection of persons, property, and facilities. Prevent, detect, and investigate violations of laws, rules, and regulations involving accidents, crimes, and misconduct. Arrest violators, assist in the prosecution of criminals, and serve as a source of assistance to employees and the public in emergencies.
