Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a setting that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. This role fosters relationship-based care and upholds professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, relevant nursing practice acts, and regulatory agency standards. The position supports acute care departments including medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, childbirth, pediatric, operating room, perianesthesia, endoscopy, and cardiac catheterization units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term objectives.
• Maintain expertise and technical knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care, making appropriate assignments based on acuity and skill level.
• Apply evidence-based practices to enhance workplace performance and promote cost-saving initiatives.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues, demonstrating respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and professionalism.
• Communicate clearly to manage expectations and provide timely responses to patient needs, ensuring a positive care experience.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

Work Shift: Night shift (3rd shift), full-time, 36 hours per week.
