This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for patients while supporting the daily administrative needs of the clinic.Job ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and assist with the check-in and check-out processAnswer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriatelyMake appointment reminder callsAssist patients with scheduling and rescheduling appointmentsVerify and update patient demographics and contact informationCollect required forms, identification, and verify all informationSend referrals and supporting medical documentationCommunicate professionally with patients, providers, law offices, and outside medical facilitiesMaintain an organized and professional front office and waiting areaAssist providers and staff with additional administrative and office duties as neededFollow HIPAA requirements when accessing or sharing patient informationQualificationsPrevious medical office or receptionist experience preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, dependable, and detail-orientedComfortable answering phones and communicating with patientsBasic computer and data-entry skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environmentExperience with medical scheduling or electronic medical records is a plusWhat We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate is friendly, organized, flexible, and willing to assist wherever needed.
