Title: Product Engineer
Department: R&D

Qualifications

• Display a depth of knowledge across multiple technical areas including current knowledge of existing and emerging technologies
• Require minimal supervision to successfully complete tasks and assignments
• Must demonstrate initiative and ownership of assignments/projects
• Requires excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing with executives, colleagues and individuals, internal or external
• Bachelor’s degree plus experience in CAD design
• The employee will be required to conduct work in the engineering lab or assembly areas
• Must be a US Citizen, Permanent US Resident, or currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without current or future employment sponsorship
• Post offer applicants must pass a drug screen

Responsibilities

• Product review, design, improvement, and prototyping, create detailed CAD models.
• Run structural tests on prototypes, coordinate performance tests and develop improvements.
• Coordinate designs with product managers, marketing, and manufacturing or software teams.
• Update and improve existing products based on user feedback and cost analysis.
• Write clear technical specifications, manuals, and project reports, SOPs, CARs, and technical drawings.
