CNC Lathe Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Cleveland, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and union representation. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe Machines
• Load and unload components manually or with overhead hoists following work instructions
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Perform tooling changes and adjust offsets in CNC controls
• Maintain quality and production standards per specifications

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC Lathe
• Experience machining parts ranging from 5” to 15” in diameter
• Working knowledge of CNC G-Code and M-Code programming
• Proficient in using inspection tools, including:
• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Thread gauges
• Bore gauges
• Experience with machine tooling, including setup and offset adjustments
• Tool presetter experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Ability to pass a pre-employment screening
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekdays and Saturdays as needed
• This is a union manufacturing environment focused on precision machining and aerospace-quality standards.

Job Type:

Full-Time | Direct Hire

Shift:

1st or 2nd Shift

• Standard: 1st shift - 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime as needed
• 2nd shift 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday). Overtime: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM (as needed)

Pay:

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
