Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide comprehensive HR support across multiple facilities. This role will partner closely with site leadership and employees to support day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, payroll, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on HR professional with experience supporting a manufacturing or production environment , strong knowledge of employment regulations, and the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, performance management, leave management, compliance, and employee training.
• Serve as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees across multiple facilities.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, policies, and workplace issues.
• Manage employee relations matters and assist with investigations and conflict resolution.
• Support talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring.
• Administer performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate HR reports and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Conduct I-9 audits and maintain required employment documentation.
• Lead new-hire orientations and support training and development initiatives.
• Administer employee benefits and process payroll , ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee records.
• Support initiatives focused on employee engagement, workplace culture, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with HR leadership on special projects and organizational initiatives.
• Travel between assigned facilities approximately 20% of the time .

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment .
• 2+ years of HR management experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English .
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing and HRIS systems .
• Experience supporting HR functions across multiple facilities.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
• Excellent employee relations, coaching, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with employees and leadership.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% between assigned facilities.
