Qualifications & Experience:

• Active New Jersey special education teaching license (required)
• Demonstrated experience working with students from elementary through high school
• Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Creative approach to instruction, adapting strategies to fit individual student needs
• A passion for advocacy, collaboration, and educational innovation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and adapt lesson plans in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Serve as a resource for students, families, and staff, building positive relationships to support student growth
• Monitor and document progress, providing regular updates to all stakeholders
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities
• Maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
