Our global customer base includes major engine and airframe OEMs, tier suppliers and aircraft operators.Working hours will be 10am-6pmKey AccountabilitiesReceive, count, verify and ensure accuracy of received goods; materials and items such as various metal bar stock, raw steel, flat stock, and components.Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.Verifies that materials received are as ordered. Routes incoming items within the company as directed.Compares identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders or records.Pick and Stock product orders and accurately perform ERP system transactionsPerform Cycle Counts on a daily basisPerform Parts protection/Material handling tasksDetermines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping; prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of ladingPick and issue raw materialPerform other related duties as assignedJob RequirementsCapabilities and Success FactorsRestrictions imposed by federal export control laws may limit this job opportunity to candidates who are a 'U.S. Person', which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position.High school diploma or GED preferred.1+ year of experience in position or specialization.Strong PC skills requiredAbility to operate trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyers, overhead crane or other handling equipment to move material to and from and within the facility.Experience using MHE preferredAbility to work independently as well as a member of a teamGood problem-solving skills. Resolving most questions and problems and referring more complex issues to higher levels.Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, with acute attention to detailFast learnerGood communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDrive for continuous improvementModerate physical demand is required to continuously lift or move raw material. Must be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs.Experience in Fedex, UPS, DHL parcel shipping a plus.Experience using ERP or WMS systems and Microsoft Office.Experience in cycle counting and inventory control.Compensation is based on experience: $20.00-25.00/hr.
