Project Manager

Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex enterprise technology initiatives for a top client of ours out of Indianapolis. This role requires a seasoned project leader with experience managing large-scale infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity projects within a matrixed enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively with executive leadership, and excels at driving multiple concurrent workstreams from initiation through implementation. This role is onsite and contract. No third parties. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations are successfully managed. Manage multiple enterprise initiatives simultaneously, balancing priorities across infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and technology programs. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource plans, budgets, risk registers, and executive status reports. Coordinate cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization, driving accountability without direct authority. Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and communicate project health, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Identify project risks, issues, and roadblocks while developing creative solutions to keep initiatives on track. Forecast project resource requirements and collaborate with leadership to optimize staffing and project delivery. Build strong relationships across IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership. Challenge existing processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, governance, and project outcomes. Ensure projects follow established project management methodologies, governance standards, and organizational best practices. Required Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in IT project management and technology delivery. Proven experience managing enterprise projects lasting six months or longer with significant capital budgets and cross-functional teams. Experience working in large enterprise environments utilizing matrixed resources. Demonstrated success leading complex IT initiatives from project initiation through implementation. Strong planning, forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience identifying process improvements and alternative solutions.
