Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students with moderate disabilities, tailoring teaching methods to individual needs.
• Develop and implement detailed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student, emphasizing measurable goals.
• Adapt general education lessons and materials to accommodate unique learning differences and promote student success.
• Facilitate learning in essential life skills, social interaction, and foundational academics, supporting greater independence.
• Utilize positive reinforcement and structured interventions to effectively manage behaviors and foster a productive classroom environment.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress, adjustments, and ongoing needs.
• Serve as a point of contact for families, actively communicating progress, challenges, and strategies in support of each student's individualized plan.
• Collaborate daily with therapists, support staff, and families to ensure an integrated approach to student growth.
