Associate Portfolio Manager

A growing wealth management organization is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to support private client investment relationships in the Atlanta area. This role is ideal for someone with experience in investment, wealth management, private client, advisory, or portfolio support who wants to develop into a more technical investment management position. The candidate enjoys portfolio strategy, asset allocation, investment research, client portfolio reviews, and long‑term, relationship‑focused wealth management — without a heavily sales‑driven focus. Responsibilities Support the management and monitoring of private client investment portfolios Assist with portfolio reviews, asset allocation, performance analysis, and investment recommendations Partner with internal advisors, client‑facing teams, and senior investment professionals Help prepare client review materials, market commentary, portfolio updates, and investment summaries Review portfolio positioning, risk, liquidity needs, and long‑term client objectives Support investment research, manager research, due diligence, and reporting Help identify portfolio issues and appropriately escalated items Build technical knowledge in fiduciary, private client, and relationship‑based investment management Ideal Background 4+ years of experience in wealth management, investment management, private banking, financial advisory, or portfolio support Exposure to private client, HNW, UHNW, family office, fiduciary, or relationship‑based investment portfolios preferred Experience with asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment research, performance review, or client portfolio reviews Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to explain investment concepts clearly and professionally Strong interest in growing into a long‑term investment management career Experience with portfolio management, CRM, investment reporting, planning, or compliance systems preferred Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred Benefits Strong growth path within wealth management and investments Less sales‑production pressure than a traditional advisor seat Exposure to senior investment professionals and complex client portfolios Collaborative team environment Competitive compensation, bonus, and benefits MOHR Talent is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
