Commercial Loan Coordinator IIIThe Commercial Loan Coordinator III provides advanced-level coordination, analysis, and operational support for commercial lending activities. This position works closely with Commercial Loan Officers, Portfolio Managers, customers, and internal partners to support loan origination, portfolio management, Large Borrower Reviews (LBR), and customer service activities. The role requires independent decision-making, strong organizational skills, and direct customer interaction while ensuring compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required, preferably with a business curriculum emphasisAssociate's or Bachelor's degree preferredExperienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role required for this levelSkills & KnowledgeStrong reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skillsEffective interpersonal and communication skillsProficient keyboarding and computer skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and other applicable software programsWorking knowledge of commercial banking products and servicesAbility to operate office equipment and banking systemsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationAbility to meet the requirements and perform the duties of a Pennsylvania NotaryPhysical ability to walk, bend, stand, reach, and stoop as neededEssential ResponsibilitiesCommercial Loan OperationsCoordinate and support commercial loan origination and servicing activitiesPrepare, print, scan, and maintain loan documentation packagesAssist lenders with loan applications, Taxpayer Consent Forms, Beneficial Ownership Certifications, and related workflow requirementsMaintain accurate information within the commercial loan origination system to ensure data integrityGenerate reports and support system-related processesLearn and maintain proficiency in bank software applications and web-based systemsPortfolio and Credit SupportIndependently review borrower financial information and third-party reportsSupport Portfolio Managers and Commercial Loan Officers with follow-up and resolution of outstanding itemsServe as backup support for Portfolio Management activities, including GLOC and construction drawsCoordinate and manage Large Borrower Review (LBR) processes, including checklist development, maintenance, and follow-up activitiesClient Service & Relationship SupportServe as a primary liaison between customers, regional staff, and Commercial Loan OfficersRespond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer servicePlace and receive customer calls regarding loan accounts, documentation requests, payoff statements, collateral releases, address changes, and other account-related mattersMaintain awareness of opportunities to deepen customer relationships during interactionsCoordinate collection of confidential financial information from clients and ensure proper filing and record maintenanceLoan Origination CoordinationSupport all phases of the commercial loan origination processCoordinate customer due diligence activities, including:Beneficial Ownership requirementsBusiness Account Onboarding QuestionnairesThird-party searchesSettlement servicesInsurance documentationCommercial document preparationLoan servicing coordinationWork collaboratively with internal and external service providers to facilitate loan transactionsAdministrative SupportCreate correspondence, reports, forms, spreadsheets, and other business documentsManage incoming and outgoing communicationsGreet and assist visitorsMaintain electronic records and departmental filesComplete assigned administrative and shared departmental dutiesCompile and distribute information and reports as requested by managementCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupport the Bank's risk management and safety and soundness initiativesAdhere to applicable regulations, including:Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA)Other applicable banking regulationsPromote and maintain a workplace free from harassment and unlawful discriminationWorking ConditionsRegular attendance is required.Work schedules are established by management and may be adjusted based on business needs.Position may be performed from designated office locations or remotely with supervisor approval.Equipment UsedTelephoneComputer and printerCalculatorFax machineCopier/scannerSpecialized banking and loan software applicationsAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties and special projects as assigned.
