The Legal Team Our Legal Team's mission is to be a true partner to the business — deliveringpractical, creative solutions that help Philo move fast and win. We're a small,high-impact team: a CLO, a tight in-house group, and relationships with topoutside firms. We punch well above our weight, and we're growing. You'll be ameaningful part of that, working out of our Brooklyn, NY office where two seniorlawyers and our CEO, CFO and other high-level executives are also situated. What You'll Do You'll sit at the intersection of law and deal-making, working hand-in-hand with two senior lawyers supporting our content acquisition and business development teams on the deals that define what content Philo offers and how we grow. Thatmeans negotiating and drafting the real thing — content license agreements,platform deals, production agreements, vendor MSAs and SOWs, and IOs. Notreviewing. Not supervising. Actually in the room, driving deals to close. Beyond the deal table, you'll be the kind of lawyer who leans into whatever the business needs — releases, clearances, IP questions, takedowns, technology/SAAS agreements, the occasional thing nobody saw coming. You'll help build out ourlegal playbooks, develop templates and best practices, and make the teamsmarter and more efficient over time. This is a role with real scope, real autonomy, and real impact from day one. Projected Start Date:ASAP Status: Full-time Location: Brooklyn, New York (hybrid, 3 days onsite per week) Compensation : Includes annual salary between $210K - $275K depending on experience and location, company stock options, and health benefits.
