Administrative Assistant PT Heart and Vascular

Under the supervision of the supervisor the Administrative Assistant :

• performs duties as assigned that includescheduling receptionist and secretarial duties as it relates to scheduling for cardiac testing while serving as the liaison between the patient other staff and the physician.
• initiates implementation of processes and or has access to all operational components of the clinic as required by daily operation

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent required
• One year general office support experience preferred
  • Medical office experience preferred
• Requires a basic understanding of general office routines and procedures with the ability to file accurately
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; proficient with computers to include keyboarding basic navigation and use of email (Outlook)
• Ability to work with multi-line phone and computer systems accurately and efficiently
• Effective customer service and relationship building skills with patients visitors and staff; ability to respect dignity of all patients and follow HIPAA rules without breaches in confidentiality
• Proficient listening verbal and written communication skills
