Job Description Registrars are needed for our Healthcare facilities. Responsibilities include registration, scheduling or canceling appointments, verifying insurances, collecting co‑pays when warranted, and working with Medical Records to maintain patient files. Duties may vary depending on the needs of the work site. Maintains the security and confidentiality of patient information at all times. If you are searching for work as a Registrar, our Employment Service may assist you in obtaining employment in the following job titles: Tumor Registrar Surgical Coordinator Qualifications High School Diploma or GED/TASC required 6 months minimum experience in healthcare registration required Strong interpersonal and communication skills required Data entry skill required Ability to type a minimum of 25 to 35 wpm required Knowledge of web‑based medical software preferred Bilingual is a plus Must be able to work full time, part time, and variable shifts Schedule All positions are in hospitals and nursing homes. These facilities are open 24 hours 7 days each week. General shift availability: Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p) Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a) Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a) Clerical positions are usually 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm Every other weekend is usually required for all positions. COVID‑19 vaccination is required. Most positions include a comprehensive Union benefits package and competitive salaries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
