The CNC department supports production through equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and general department support.

Schedule

• Full-time schedule
• Flexible schedule availability required
• Must be able to work in relatively warm areas

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the preventive maintenance schedule
• Maintain all CNC equipment to help optimize machine uptime
• Provide general maintenance support throughout the CNC department
• Coordinate ordering of coolant and machine oils with the purchasing team
• Direct the CNC Janitor in daily activities
• Oversee outside service contractors and ensure they follow all CWM safety policies
• Assist the production team by making sure workstations have the necessary tools for each machine
• Operate a CNC machine as needed
• Perform safety checklists, maintain the waste log, and complete SPCC forms

Additional Responsibilities

• Keep the work area clean and free of safety hazards
• Report any near misses or safety hazards immediately to management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Good written, verbal, math, and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate
• Ability to work flexible schedules
• Ability to work in relatively warm areas
• Understanding of Quality, Environmental, and Safety Policies
• Must follow PPE requirements and all CWM safety policies
