Waterpark Engineer

Waterpark Engineer is what this position is which is not limited to - daily inspections, routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, maintaining communication, establishing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules. Inspecting and documenting, performing daily chem checks. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. It is a customer-facing position that plays a crucial role in the overall success of the waterpark and the guest experience.

The Pool Technician repairs and maintains pools, water features, or related equipment.

Qualifications:

• Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots and repairs vacuums, filters, pumps, circulators, or other equipment that operates pools and features.
• Tests water chemistry and adjusts chemical feeds as needed to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspection on a regular basis.
• Ability to work as part of a team. Problem-solving skills. Technical expertise.
• Ability to meet deadlines. Attentiveness. Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
