Location: El Segundo, CA Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months contract, with potential for full-time conversion)
Minimum Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (required).
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience drafting accounting memos and financial documentation.
- Proven experience collaborating with auditors and supporting audit processes.
- CPA qualification or public accounting experience is highly desired (Big 4 experience preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft accounting memos, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage audit processes and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain and oversee financial records and reporting in accordance with accounting standards.
- Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and reporting needs.
