We are recruiting for this contract opportunity on behalf of an established TecVeris client. The selected candidate will be engaged through TecVeris and work directly with our client as part of their team, supporting their business objectives and initiatives.

Position Overview\n

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support a large-scale Finance Modernization initiative involving Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle EPM, and related enterprise financial applications.

\n

\n

This role will oversee IT project delivery, coordinate implementation partners, and manage integrated project plans across technology and Finance teams. The initiative focuses on modernizing and optimizing an existing enterprise financial application environment.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate is an experienced project leader who can manage complex vendor relationships, align traditional and Agile delivery methodologies, challenge assumptions, and drive successful business outcomes. This individual must be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, proactively managing risks, and ensuring accountability for project milestones, deliverables, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n

\n
• Vendor and Delivery Management: Oversee implementation partners and external vendors, including project scope, milestones, deliverables, budgets, resource plans, and change management.
\n
• Integrated Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, dependencies, risk and issue registers, and delivery schedules across multiple technical and business workstreams.
\n
• Hybrid Project Delivery: Coordinate milestone-driven project schedules with Agile/SAFe delivery practices, including PI planning, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
\n
• Financial and Resource Oversight: Monitor project budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, and vendor performance to support successful delivery.
\n
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Finance leadership, IT teams, implementation partners, and other stakeholders to align project activities with business priorities.
\n
• Governance and Reporting: Facilitate project status meetings, risk reviews, executive reporting, and steering committee updates, providing clear visibility into progress and potential issues.
\n
• Technical Coordination: Oversee workstreams involving system integrations, data migration and conversion, security, environments, reporting, and testing.
\n
• Solution Optimization: Promote the use of standard enterprise application capabilities, evaluate customization requests, and recommend approaches that balance business needs, cost, and long-term maintainability.
\n
• Testing and Deployment: Coordinate testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-implementation support.
\n
• AI and Automation: Support the evaluation and adoption of relevant AI and automation capabilities within enterprise financial applications, with appropriate consideration for security, governance, and business value.
\n
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, facilitate lessons learned, and support effective knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Qualifications\n

\n
• 10+ years of IT project or program management experience, including multiple full-lifecycle ERP implementations.
\n
• Demonstrated experience delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, preferably Financials and Procurement, and Oracle EPM solutions.
\n
• Proven ability to manage systems integrators and implementation partners, including statements of work, project milestones, budgets, deliverables, and change orders.
\n
• Experience managing traditional waterfall projects while working effectively within Agile/SAFe environments, including PI planning, backlogs, and iteration cadences.
\n
• Strong understanding of enterprise financial systems, finance and accounting processes, and related business operations.
\n
• Experience coordinating integrations, data migration, security, testing, and cutover activities for enterprise applications.
\n
• Familiarity with AI and automation capabilities in enterprise financial applications.
\n
• Strong financial acumen, including project budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
\n
• Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to proactively manage risks, challenge unnecessary complexity, and drive accountability across internal and external delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications\n

\n
• SAFe certification, formal Agile training, PMP, or related project management certifications.
\n
• Oracle Cloud certifications, such as Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Foundations.
\n
• Experience supporting nonprofit, membership-based, or association organizations.
\n
• Experience modernizing or optimizing existing enterprise ERP environments.

This is a client-facing contract engagement through TecVeris. The selected candidate will collaborate directly with the client's internal teams and external implementation partners.
