Position Overview

Zenergy Instructors are the heartbeat of our Studio B experience, leading high-energy, music-driven Sculpt classes that challenge the body and elevate the room. You'll create an environment where every client feels seen, supported, and empowered, delivering intentional, beat-based movement that is both strong and accessible. This role blends coaching, musicality, and community leadership to create an experience that keeps our community moving, growing, and coming back for more.

Key Responsibilities

Class Experience & Coaching

• Lead engaging, safe, and results-driven Sculpt classes in alignment with Zenergy's Studio B standards and class formats.
• Coach intentional, strength-forward movement with a strong focus on form, breath, and mind-to-muscle connection.
• Build classes to the beat, using music to guide pacing, transitions, and energy throughout the room.
• Deliver clear, motivating, and inclusive coaching that meets clients where they are while encouraging growth.
• Maintain strong class flow and time management while adapting sequences for safety, accessibility, and intensity.

Client Connection & Community Engagement

• Create a welcoming, high-energy environment by connecting with clients before and after class.
• Learn names, celebrate milestones, and recognize personal wins both in and out of the studio.
• Represent Zenergy and Studio B at events, challenges, and community initiatives when applicable.
• Contribute to a culture of inclusivity, support, and shared energy on the studio floor.

Professional Standards & Studio Support

• Arrive prepared and on time for every class, following Studio B setup and reset procedures.
• Maintain and properly care for all personal and studio-provided equipment.
• Participate in ongoing evaluations, feedback sessions, and continued education to refine coaching and musicality.
• Follow subbing guidelines, attendance expectations, and studio operational standards.
• Support the studio team as needed before and after class, including studio readiness, cleanliness, and client flow.

Qualifications

• Passion for music-driven movement and motivating others through strength and intention.
• Prior group fitness, Pilates, barre, strength, or performance experience preferred, but not required. Comprehensive training is provided.
• Strong sense of rhythm and ability to coach movement to the beat.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with a diverse community.
• Comfortable coaching and cueing in a heated environment.
• Commitment to completing the Zenergy Instructor Training Program.
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).

Expectations & Growth Path

• Weekly Class Minimum: 2+ classes per week once fully onboarded.
• Performance Standards: Meet ongoing evaluation benchmarks for coaching quality, musicality, class flow, safety, and client engagement.
• Promotion Opportunities: Eligible for Instructor advancement tiers including Senior Instructor, Master Instructor, and Senior Master Instructor based on performance, tenure, and contribution to the Studio B experience.
• Ongoing Learning: Participate in required trainings, workshops, and development sessions to continue growing as a Zenergy coach.

Salary

$30 - $90 per hour
