Associate Attorney

Job Overview Chris Pritt Law, PLLC is an estate planning law firm in Charleston, West Virginia, helping individuals and families protect what they’ve built and provide for the people they love. We are seeking a full‑time Associate Attorney who is client‑focused, detail‑oriented, and interested in building a long‑term career in trusts and estates. Responsibilities Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives, and review these documents with clients to ensure they reflect their wishes. Advise clients on estate planning strategies to help them achieve their goals and provide for loved ones and charitable causes. Coordinate, as needed, with financial advisors, insurance agents, and other professionals to implement comprehensive plans. Maintain organized client files and manage matters from initial plan design through signing and follow‑up. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in West Virginia or bar results are pending Strong writing, research, and communication skills, especially with clients who may be anxious or unfamiliar with legal planning Genuine interest in estate planning, probate, and related areas; prior experience in these fields is preferred but not required What we offer Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 Primary focus on estate planning work, with opportunities to handle probate and related non‑litigation matters Direct client contact and meaningful long‑term relationships Convenient downtown Charleston office location, close to local courts and business centers Work directly with the partner to build your skills and experience Why Join Chris Pritt Law?
