Branch Manager - Industrial

Objectives of this role

The Branch Manager in Austell, GA will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, and training of branch personnel
• Oversees schedules and assignments for the branch
• Oversees branch revenue and profitability
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees production process to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and financial goals and standards are met
• Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations
• Works with Regional Manager to develop operating budget and manages P&L for the branch
• Collaborates with sales and uses historical and forecasting data to establish and maintain proper inventory levels meeting customer and cash management needs
• Delivers reports to executive team members as requested
• Oversees equipment purchase and maintenance for achieving optimal cost, quality, and safety of production process
• Collaborates with corporate office to set performance standards. Standards may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance
• Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives
• Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs
• Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Experience:

• Rigging and below-the-hook experience preferred
• 5 years management experience in a production industry
• Experience in creating an annual budget and managing a P&L
• Experience in inventory management processes
