The DAS Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and in-building solutions that improve connectivity and coverage for our customers. We are seeking an experienced DAS Technician to cover areas east of Texas. Travel a Must. Individual must reside in close proximity to a major airport. What you will do: DAS installation in both carrier and public safety spaces, with knowledge of OEM and connection types. Individual will be installing maintaining, and troubleshooting issues pertaining to coax cable, fiber optic cable, power cable, etc. Terminate coax cable and power cable. Maintenance of test gear (Anritsu Sweep & PIM) to achieve passing results Cable Troubleshooting Line sweeping and PIM testing Fusion Splicing and Fiber testing. Qualifications: 2-4 years DAS/telecom experience. Experience adhering to schedules, following instructions, self-performing duties and working with professionalism with team members, clients, contractors, and vendors. Knowledge of Microsoft Word. Must maintain a clean background driving record. OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid and EMT desired. Candidate must be able to work multiple shifts and away from home in all elements. Ability to lift, squat, climb ladders, work above head, lift/maneuver up to 100lbs, stand/walk for long periods. Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
