Responsibilities Organize, plan, and manage your territory to drive revenue growth with strategic sales and marketing plans. Act as a consultant by presenting the most mutually beneficial solutions to ideal Dayton Freight customers. Develop long‑lasting relationships with all levels of the customer’s organization. Hunt down new business opportunities and turn prospects into loyal customers. Build real connections through regular on‑site visits, business reviews, pricing negotiations, and off‑site entertainments. Partner with operations and service teams to create smooth, reliable customer experiences. Stay sharp on industry trends and competitor moves. Keep your sales pipeline organized and your reporting on point. Jump into special projects and make an impact where it counts. Use the latest technology that helps you prepare and plan for your sales day. It is every employee’s duty to participate in the company’s goal of satisfying customers economically. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field, or 5+ years of sales experience. A track record of achieving sales goals. Valid driver’s license and readiness to hit the road. Strong communication skills and a natural talent for building relationships. Nice to Have Knowledge of the local market.
