This position leads all sanitation activities across the facility, including equipment, building, and process cleaning, while driving continuous improvement in sanitation practices. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality, food safety, and operational excellence in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.What You'll DoLead and oversee all plant sanitation activities, including cleaning of equipment, machinery, and facility areasDevelop, implement, and maintain sanitation procedures, tracking systems, and validation processesTrain and coach team members on sanitation standards, safety protocols, and proper cleaning techniquesMonitor GMPs, housekeeping, and sanitation compliance across the facilityManage sanitation supplies and chemicals, while coordinating sanitation efforts with cross-functional teamsQualifications/RequirementsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific field3+ years of sanitation experience within a food or beverage manufacturing environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organizationProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environmentPreferred:Food safety certification or experience with global food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.)Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience in alcohol beverage or broader CPG manufacturing environmentsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistanceAbility to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as neededAbility to stand, move throughout the facility, and maintain attention to detail in a production environmentCulture and BenefitsSazerac offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more.
